SO FAR

Bella Culotta is a soil scientist and artist based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her creative practice explores manufactured dichotomies and social acceptance. Recently, her work has studied the relations between waste and natural systems and artistic and scientific practices. She has exhibited two public art installations in upstate New York, ‘Waste Not’, selected for the Cornell Council of the Arts 5th Biennial, and ‘Circular Circus,’ an interactive commissioned exhibit. She has also collaborated to design an interdisciplinary research campus for the China Agricultural University and co-published a children's book.
